An email arrives. From Daniel Reyes, subject "412 Maple Ave — still available?". He writes that he and his wife drove past the property on the weekend and love it, that they're relocating from Calgary so they can't view in person yet, and asks for a video call this week. He includes his own meeting link and suggests Thursday at 2pm.
A thumb moves toward the link, and stops. The link is
revealed: it points to join.meetlink-invite.example
— a lookalike domain, not the real meeting service.
Lockbox checks it. The first pass returns "Checked · not sure", so the message is escalated to Jennifer, an AI reviewer, rather than guessed at.
The verdict: quarantined. The meeting link points to a lookalike domain. The sender's domain was registered six days ago. The signature copies a real agent's, with one letter changed.
The message is held out of the inbox, and a short note arrives explaining what was found. Real mail keeps arriving normally.
